Jan Lindsley

Hi, my name is Jan Lindsley.

I am an Enrolled Agent (E.A. #92843) enrolled to practice and represent any taxpayer before the Internal Revenue Service, even if I did NOT prepare their tax return.  I am also a California Tax Education Council (CTEC #A029755) Certified Tax Preparer (CRTP); bonded; and a member of the California Society of Tax Consultants (CSTC).  Phew!  ;-D

Continuing education is a requirement in the tax field where the tax laws change `every year!’  To become an IRS recognized Enrolled Agent requires passing 3-4 hour exams and a specific number of hours of continuing education every year to maintain your EA status.

My background includes: 30 years Federal Civil Service in Accounting and Systems Analysis;  followed immediately by 10 years with Intuit, Inc (makers of TurboTax & ProSeries tax software) as a Tax Quality Assurance Analyst /Government Liaison, and worked 4 tax seasons (part-time) with H&R Block.

In 2008 I finally decided quit the 9-5 job and create that “successful” business of my own that I have always wanted … so here I am. ;-D

All I need now is a few more good folks who will give me the opportunity to provide some old-  fashioned personal, year-round, reasonably priced, quality service.  ;-D
